He studied in the prestigious IUNA University in Buenos Aires, Argentina then continued his artistic development renowned painter Richard Sturgeon’s studio. Jantus continued his 10-year painting career in Barcelona, in an art residency in the growing artistic-industrial area of Poble Nou.
Jantus exhibited in Amuleto Gallery in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona in 2018, followed by exhibitions in Helsinki, Tokyo, London, Barcelona again and Río de Janeiro.
Amuleto and Jantus continued to work together and will be coming to New York for Art Expo New York from the 4th to 7th of April [please let us know if you will attend] in the Rising Artists Gallery, wall number #12.
Why Jantus? These two big format paintings, with its many colours structured in a natural way, will excite any eye with its strong and vibrant gestures but will also fullfill the spirit of the spectator. Being the pictorial stage a colourfully alive painting provokes a joyful feeling in the meditation of this new universe and still calm in a watery atmosphere.
A child of our time, Jantus avoids figurative or geometric elements, enticing the viewer into a liberating wild forms exploring harmony and tension between colours and high jumping contrasts.
